Today I watched the Special A anime online!!! And in school today, I had my English paper 1. Next paper is on 2 May. By the way, I found the format slightly weird too.

Today

Today I went to the Science Center, the Singapore Philatelic Museum and the Singapore Mint Museum of Toys. Interesting, except for the Mint Musemum, which I found boring. Maybe it's because I was too tired by then to appreciate it.

I bought Harry Potter stamps at the Singapore Philatelic Museum!!!

The Difference between Whining and Complaining

In the Strait's Times today there was an article on the Home first page called "The Difference between Whining and Complaining"

It occoured to me that everyday I have been whining at my friends... things like Monday Blues, why my cosplay costume hasn't come in, i forgot to do my homework... things like that.

I've read lately that says:
'Monday's child is fair of face. '
'Tuesday's child is full of grace. '
'Wednesday's child is full of woe. '
'Thursday's child has far to go. '
'Friday's child is loving and giving. '
'Saturday's child works hard for a living, '
'But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day'
'Is bonny and blithe and good and gay. '
P.S. Sunday is Sabbath's Day.

There's books too, from Louise Bagshawe, called Monday's child and Tuesday's child. My mum told me I was born on a Saturday, you know. But I don't want to work hard for a living!!! I know that I would have to work when out of school, but still...

Sorry!!!

Sorry, so long never posted... again, so sorry. Have been looking out for nice songs lately, please comment and tell me if you know any.
I recently went to Harus at Far East Plaza and ordered my costume. It's the Vampire Knight Day Class costume. So cool!!!! Am way too hyper about this.
In physics today we were supposed to make a lamp. We made a blue dog figure with a pink clay ball. I did the circuits part while Brandon, Wei Quan and Yi Ying drew the blueprints, cut out the shape and the rest. I also did the Excel worship today.
Can't think of anything else to write so logging off.

Tired...

Usually you have to place an order for wig as the stock she keep is limited.

Another more pricer place to get wigs is Magic Wand (Tanglin Mall #03-02/03, Lucky Plaza #03-94, Great World City #02-36). What they got at hand is what you can buy and the regular ones tend to go for SGD85 onwards, SGD65 if you're lucky.

Hat shop at heren level five. A HAT SHOP!!!! all types of hats, and tons and tons of them, perfect for cosplay stuff, and they're only $19.90!

Shoe shop at novena mall selling boots (or whatever the mall is called. u alight at novena mrt and it links straight to the mall), ground level. its got tons of boots for between $48.90 and $68.90. not as cheap as internet auctions, but at least u get to try these on for size first. and its way cheaper than the $100+ that most other shops charge for high boots.

I know this is free advertising but still...
(BTW: I'm reading a book called S.A.S.S. (Students Across the Seven Seas). It's nice.

Shopping!!!

Yesterday I went to Far East plaza to see the cosplay shop there. So cool!!! So many costumes... pity I don't have the money to buy them... but I have a deal with my father, if I get 1 A1, I will get $50!!!
This is a very good deal, as I am 1 of these people who would get good scores even if I don't study!!! However, I need at least 3 A1's, so I actually need to study this time round!!! Bleargh.
If anyone is interested, the shop is called 'Harus' and is at the 3rd floor of Far East Plaza.
BTW, help!!! I can't get the CBox on this blog!!! Any suggestions please comment then!!!

Ah!!! What am I doing!!! Tomorrow is the NAPFA test!!! I must go train now!!!

Change of Costume

No.... the exorcist uniform is too hard for me to do and a tailor is too expensive!!! So, I'm doing the Noah Road.

Road's Clothes:

I'm asking a woman I know to help me sew the shirt. I know Road has a skirt instead of shorts, but it is easier this way.

Today+Cosplay Costume

Today I had CCA, Editoral Board, and it was interesting. A guy came in and taught us some stuff about interviewing skills. He had 10 years of experience, so Ms Lappen (the CCA-in-charge teacher) asked him to teach us.
BTW, a sort of draft has been drawn up. I am going as Allen Walker of D-Gray Man, even though I'm a girl.

Materials Needed:

• A Graduating Gown
• Silver Buttons
• Silver Badge
• White cloth
• A Tailor

Since I can't do sewing very well, I should look for a tailor.

Allen Walker:

• Red Glove
• Green Marker
• 5 Blood-Red Long Fake Nails
• A Ball with Wings and a String Tail (Gold or Yellow)

Kanda Yuu:

• A Katana (Japanese Sword)
• A Ball with Wings and a String Tail (Black)

I obviously can't get a katana, or the girl's costume, so I shall go as Allen.

There's a cosfest at suntec city! I must try to go! Seeing as I have short black hair, maybe I can go as Haruhi of Ouran High School Host Club, or Tohru Honda of Fruit Basket, or a male or female exorcist of D-Gray Man, the Noah Road of D-Gray Man, or Komui Lee of D-Gray Man!!!! I can also go as Vampire Knight's Night Class Girl the Day Class Girl Costume!!!

Mission - Ace the Napfa Test (Or at least pass it)

In Singapore schools, (institutions, colleges...) we must have a fitness test every year, called the NAPFA test acronym for Non-Acceptable Passing For Anyone (but maybe I'm just biased...)
You know, in this world, some people can do everything better than their friends, and they do not even need to try hard. Some people, no matter how hard they try, always ends up way behind the rest. I am a person who cannot, absolutely not do any exercise, yet I have no health problems like asthma. Weird.
I will be 14 this October so I am officially still 13. My current time for the 2.4 k.m. run in NAPFA is 20 minutes 24 seconds, but 13 year olds only need to run 2.4 k.m. in 18 minutes 30 seconds. Sigh.

BTW, I am putting on an image called my misconception of the school uniform.

Introduction

Hi, I just started this blog so I guess not many people would come to look at it. (+ I suck at HTML) But first let's start with introduction.
I'm a Singaporean Chinese girl, who hates Chinese (spoken and written language) and gets good scores in a school called Jurong Secondary School. (It's under the TLLM [acronym for Teach Less Learn More] scheme and is called a 'futureschool', but i think it's rubbish as many schools have at least 1 title. Where was i? Oh yes, got it.)
Well, this is all you need to know for now.
